Your latest release is mini album 'TERRITORY OF "B.A.A.L"' released
during your European tour. Is it still available for purchasing or is it sold out?

U-tarou : Hi,there. I'm also glad. Thank you for the interview to us.
-2006 Euro tour special edition(Special picture label)-
"TERRITORY OF "B.A.A.L" is sold out, now.

Because, it was "Limited 200"
We prepare "TERRITORY OF "B.A.A.L", again soon.
It will be able to prepare for a few weeks.
Of course, you can buy our CD for March BAAL Europe tour.

You played few live shows in Germany. Can you tell me your reflections?

U-tarou : Yes, I played 5 places in Europe. This tour was the first time in my life.
Many our fans visited BAAL's gig.
They were waiting for us. I was really moved. I never foget.
I have confidence about the BAAL. So, I believe our music for a long time.
I have been listening to world music.
Surely, my aim wasn't different.
They gave me more power, energy in Europe.
I just want to say to them "BIG THANK YOU"
And also, I could meet great people.

Now, some Europe people likes Japanese music.
Especially, Visual key, if you will. But I think, they aren't "Real Rock"
I don't mind that they like VK.
I just wanted to tell REAL ROCK to everybody.
I could see their happy smile in there. BAAL and our fans had a great time in there.

Definitely, my life and feeling changed with Europe tour.
I mean...I could growth something..
I don't know the right way to say this, but..
In near future, this Europe tour must be good effect to my life experience.

I'm very impressed of 'TERRITORY OF "B.A.A.L"'. I need bigger dose of
your music than singles. Combining of refreshed older songs with new
tracks is very good. I really adore songs like 'myrrha' or 'The collapse
of rusty kingdom (A lotus of a decaying artificial flower)'. Yeah, I was
very suprised by 'The collapse of rusty kingdom (A lotus of a decaying
artificial flower)'. I have to praise MIKITO to create so great song. Do
you want to record more songs in soundtrack style in the future?

U-tarou : I'm glad you like it.
I love Mikito's world.
Especially, The collapse of rusty kingdom is describing in Mikito's soul(I think).
He's definitely great artist.

'ON THE SURFACE' contains some softer vocal parts. U-tarou, are you
thinking about singing in typical female style?

U-tarou : I don't think so that singing in typical female style.
I have some voice in my mind, my body,,,
But, I'm just female, of course I can sing with softer voice.

As a human.
My vocal art style is, feelings, emotion, evil,, strong, strange style, and so on.
"ON THE SURFACE" contains some softer vocal parts.__ is just way to one of
expression of art.I prefer screaming to softer voice,now.

But, I might will make softer song in near future..
I just want to make a song with Mikito.
His sounds and my voice have to fit. That is the important things.

In current line up have you started activity under the name of
CHRONOTRIGGER. For many people CHRONOTRIGGER is a video game from SNES.
Was this fact related to decision about the name for the band at the
beginning or to decision about later change of this name?

U-tarou : It is irrelevant with video game.
Of course I know about CHRONOTRIGGER is a video game.
At first, Mikito named that the band is CHRONOTRIGGER.
He didn't know CHRONOTRIGGER video game.
It was just an accident that he named it.

Anyway, CT was precursor for BAAL.

Words like 'Baal', 'myrrha', 'Rahab' are taken from mythologies of
regions far away from Japan. Are you interesting with mytologies?

U-tarou : I like the mythology. Very mysterious.
So, so long ago... There were many God, Godness, Devil,,,.
People believed that the mythology things is real than now.
I think, The Devil and Angle, Demon, evil bred from human.
And, it is the other world from this world.
But, it is the real mind, if you say..So, I'm interested .

I sometimes use mythologies of Europe.
Also I use the older Japanese classics.
Because, I like that sound.

"BAAL" "Myrrhha" "Rahab" are older Europe history and words, I know.
I feel beautiful sound from these words.
But, the same meanings have Japanese words.
I just found out them with mythology.
I wanted to use when I found out beautiful sound, and important meanings for me ,
anyway.

'The wreck is control you. It's quite an irony of fate'. It's a
fragment of 'Wreckage' lyrics. U-tarou, could you explain the meaning of
word 'wreck'? I think, that it means something more, that I can find in a dictionary.

U-tarou : For me, "Wreck" meanings is.....When you feel desire a little in your life,
When you feel regret for something in your life,
You will breed mind's wreckage.
In fact, "wreckage" is your real that wanted to do something.
Everybody is thinking that they want to do their dream.
But sometimes, some people fail in it.
Of course, I have experience, too.So, if you want to do try for something...
You should try it!

I hate regret.
'The wreck is control you. It's quite an irony of fate'.
I must fight against with my wreckage.

In your work I feel a riot against typical Japanese society. Against
what aspects of life are you opposing?

U-tarou : Shit human isn't in earnest to living, if you will.
I'm not going to say slander.In Japan is peace, and saturation now.
Japanese people is losing energy.
Because, a lot of information in here.
Everybody can't find out that which is the way to go from a lot of information..
People isn't living seriously ,every day.
If they have a lot of energy...
They never fail into a depression.
Net cafe nomad. Suicides.
Frustration..
Street slasher.....
The TV everyday tell case of murder.

I guess that people could't find out energy for serious life, hobby,

Do you feel better than ordinary citizen?

U-tarou : Not especially.
I'm artist and sing a song.
But I'm also ordinary citizen.

But I feel that the artist is hard to do in here.
Almost Japanese people doesn't listen to the world music.
The artist's estimate is too low in Japan.
It is Culture. Can not help.But I hate it.

And what do you think about living in Japan? In Poland difference by
rich and poor people it's going bigger. If you don't have money you are no
one ad you can only die. I think corruption and extreme high taxes are the
most fucking social problems in Poland.

U-tarou : On the life is comfortable.I think, almost another country's people think
Japan=rich.There is many industry and job.Safety, a lot of food...
You won't believe this story,,, in Japan, a bar and pub are open all night.
Safety is good things, but a mad person born.
Peaceful Boke.
The war, want of food, crises are not in Japan.

Japanese people haven't independence mind.
Of course, not all Japanese people haven't independence mind.
So, if Japanese people and young kids lives in Poland, or another countly.....It'll be
so hard.

Visual side of your art is very important. Are you realizing concepts
of Naz during photo session or are there your concepts?

U-tarou : We talk over about concepts of photo session together.
I trust Naz, and respect her.She create wonderful photo than my thinking.
Her art photo move me.I feel degenerate image,,, beauty inside solid,

How do you feel like models?

U-tarou : I give expression to my thoughts.Stage, song, lyrics, photo shooting are
same feelings.

Have you got any propositions of fashion presentation? For example
modeling of fashion brands created by Kenzo Amishiro?

U-tarou : Kenzo-A is my good friend. He is also musician and so cool.
I like his music and brand. I have a few his brand's clothes.
Mikito appeared his brand fashion show last year.Kenzo asked Mikito. And, he made
clothes with Mikito's image.It was great show at Laforet in Harajuku.And, BAAL
played in there.
We will be mixed up with him.

In March you will come to Europe again, this time with Calmando Qual.
Are you close to Qual's members in everyday life?

U-tarou : We played together in events for a few times.
That event is Tokyo Dark Castle.I talked with Taku and Hibiki for last time TDC.
They are a good person.
Maybe, we don't much know about each other, yet.

Are you going to release any CD during your upcoming tour?

U-tarou : This time, we don't release our new CD.
We sell [TERRITORY of "B.A.A.L"] .

I love music full of energy and passion as you create. I hope, that
someday I will got a chance come to your live show. Thank you for your
